I help missions move forward.

After 20 years bridging the gaps across marketing, tech, and strategy, I started Rhombus Progress with one goal: give nonprofits, foundations, and small businesses the digital edge they deserve—without the six-figure price tag.

Let's Talk
Sarah Morgan, founder of Rhombus Progress

How I got here

I've spent two decades in the trenches at agencies, startups, and small businesses watching the same story play out over and over. An organization needs a website. They hire a developer. Marketing needs something different than what gets built. The project stalls. Budget balloons. And the organization ends up with less money for their actual work.

The problem was never the people. It was the gaps between them. Marketing speaks one language. Development speaks another. Leadership has goals that somehow get lost in translation. Projects that should take weeks stretch into months. Budgets meant for impact get swallowed by inefficiency.

"I want to leave organizations with more money to do the things they need to do to serve their mission."

I started Rhombus Progress because I've always been the person who could translate. The one who understood what marketing needed, how tech could deliver it, and how it all connected to the bigger picture. I realized that organizations—especially nonprofits facing funding cuts, foundations with lean teams, and small businesses running on tight margins—needed someone who could carry the whole picture, not just a piece of it.

Along the way, I've partnered with startups cornering new markets, small businesses driving local and nationwide growth, and nonprofits focused on education, domestic violence assistance, clean energy, homelessness, and more—all trying to reach more people, rank higher in search, work smarter with AI, and find more donors.

"Sarah brings clarity to complex technical work. She's thoughtful, reliable, and genuinely invested in building systems that work long-term — not just quick fixes."
— Marketing Director, Domestic Violence Nonprofit

What makes this different

Full-picture thinking

I don't just build websites—I connect your CRM, SEO, AI tools, marketing goals, and budget into one system that actually works together. Everything fits because I see how everything fits.

Plain English, always

No jargon. No buzzwords to make simple things sound complicated. I explain what we're doing, why it matters, and what you'll get—in terms that make sense to everyone in the room.

Strategy before speed

I align on goals and strategy before we move. We agree on what success looks like. Then, once everything's ready, we knock it out as fast as possible—without the false starts.

I bridge the teams

Marketing needs conversions and data. Tech needs clear requirements. Leadership needs results. I speak all three languages and make sure nothing gets lost in translation.

A resource, not a vendor

Even without a monthly retainer, I'm a call away. Projects end, but relationships don't. I'm here for as long as you need guidance—not just until the invoice clears.

More money for mission

Six-figure results without the six-figure spend. Every decision I make is filtered through one question: does this leave more resources for the work that actually matters?

Values that guide the work

Clarity over complexity

Simple systems beat clever ones. If a solution can't be explained in plain terms, it's probably not the right solution.

Mission over margins

Your impact matters more than my profit. I'll never recommend something you don't need just to pad a project.

Partnership over transactions

I'm not here to bill hours and disappear. I want to understand your organization deeply enough to help it grow.

Progress over perfection

Great work doesn’t require endless timelines. I’d rather help you launch something strong today and refine it together than chase perfection that never ships.

Because what we do matters

I could help big brands sell more stuff, but I'd rather put in long hours supporting good causes. What we do in this world matters. I want to help make a difference for people who spend their lives making a difference.

When I'm not working

I grew up in Georgia, spent almost a decade in the Bay Area, and now call the Denver area home. When I'm not helping organizations get their digital systems in order, you'll find me playing softball, going on runs, or trying to make a dent in my ever-growing reading list.

I share my home with my girlfriend and our three dogs—yes, three—each with a name that probably tells you more about my personality than this entire page.

What clients say

Sarah helped us completely rethink our digital strategy without overwhelming our small team. She understood our budget constraints and found solutions that actually fit our capacity. We've doubled our email list and finally have systems that talk to each other.

Executive Director

Education Nonprofit

What sets Sarah apart is her ability to see around corners. She doesn't just solve the problem you bring her—she identifies the three problems you didn't know you had and fixes them before they become urgent. Our website traffic has increased 200% since working with her.

Chief Marketing Officer

Software Startup

Working with Sarah felt like adding a senior team member, not hiring a consultant. She took the time to understand our mission and our constraints, and delivered work that exceeded what agencies twice her price had proposed.
